Are all Houses of Parliament products available online?

Unfortunately not all Houses of Parliament products are available online, but many items from the shop are available to order from our customer service team on +44 (0)20 7219 3890

Is it possible to order Parliamentary documents?

Although most documents are no longer printed, we can arrange to have most current documents printed on request. Please contact us on +44 (0)20 7219 3890 with your requirements. Staff will research the availability of the document and quote a price before asking if you would like to go ahead with your order. Payment will be taken in advance for print on request items.

Do you stock Parliamentary documents?

We stock House of Commons Hansards and House of Lords Hansards. Other documents are available either by pre-order for publications such as the Budget Papers or via a print on request service. Please contact us on +44 (0)20 7219 3890 for details.

Placing an order

Do I have to signup to place an order? 

No, you do not have to signup to place an order. You can simply select ‘Check Out’ from the Shopping Basket page and continue without registering. You will need to provide an email address to receive your order confirmation.

How can I tell if my order has been successful? 

After placing an order you will receive a confirmation email from shop@parliament.uk

Can I cancel or change my order? 

Please contact our customer service team on +44 (0)20 7219 3890 or onlineshop@parliament.uk where we can arrange a cancellation, refund or exchange.

What types of payment do you accept? 

We accept: Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

When is payment processed?

Payment is processed once your order is placed and you have received your confirmation email.

Do I have to pay VAT?

All online orders including orders sent internationally are subject to UK VAT

How do I know when my order has been dispatched? 

You will receive a dispatch email from onlineshop@parliament.uk as soon as your order is dispatched.

Can I change the delivery address after I have ordered? 

If your item has not yet been dispatched please contact us on +44 (0)20 7219 3890 or onlineshop@parliament.uk so we can change the delivery address

What happens if I’m not in when the parcel arrives? 

The delivery driver will attempt to leave a card if you are not in, advising you to collect your parcel at your local post office.

Do deliveries need a signature? 

Most UK deliveries won’t require a signature. Deliveries to overseas addresses, however, will often require a signature. 

Will I have to pay any import duties if ordering from abroad? 

Local import duty or taxes may be applied at the point of import, which you are responsible for when ordering from abroad.

Are there any types of products that can’t be delivered to my country? 

This will depend on your own countries customs regulations and some items may have restrictions.

Can I send orders to multiple addresses?

Returns

Can I return my order? 

If your item is still in its original condition and you would like to return it, please contact us within 28 days of your original purchase on +44 (0)20 7219 3890 or email onlineshop@parliament.uk where we will be happy to provide a refund or exchange.

Can I return my order in store at Houses of Parliament shop? 

Yes, please contact us on +44 (0)20 7219 3890 or email onlineshop@parliament.uk to let us know that you would like to return the item in store.
